It begins when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably and start invading other parts of the body. These cells form lumps or tumors, affecting the way our organs work. Cancer can begin almost anywhere  and it changes everything. The study of cancer is called Oncology, and its causes can be genetic, environmental, or even lifestyle-related. Sometimes, it’s inherited. Other times, it’s the result of years of unhealthy habits or exposure to harmful substances. But what happens after diagnosis? Cancer doesn't just attack the body, it tests your mind and spirit too. Imagine a little girl, just 10 or 11, looking in the mirror and crying to her mother, saying she’s “ugly” because the treatment made her lose her hair. Her mother’s response?
