Once scattered across different regions,

Where dreams of unity were but distant echoes

Until the colonizers drew the lines,

And many became one nation.

A country of diversity!

Rich in tribes, cultures, marks, beliefs, traditions, languages, foods, and lifestyles.

Rich in its cultural tapestry

One that other nations admire.

No shared dress codes, yet beauty in every fabric.

A unique sense of humor,

And above all,

A heart of gold.

Where every color means something.

Where people smile, even when the country feels sour.

Where we celebrate and forget the pain of yesterday.

A country where joy is not wrestled away.

Our children need no calendar to play.

Even when sorrow surrounds us,

Somehow, we find happiness.

May God bless Nigeria

MOVIE CRITIC: THE HERD Just Like Every Other One, It Reminds Us of the Poison People believe history shapes our lifestyle, and while the stories get interesting, the movies created from them make the connections more visible. The Herd is a historical movie; not too old, just about six years from the real events that inspired its visuals. It is a film that does not intend to hurt any religion or portray any tribe in Nigeria negatively. Effiong Daniel, an inspiring actor, delivered a project that could easily be misunderstood as controversial, especially because it was released during a chaotic and sensitive period in the country.
