BUILD BRICKS OF LOVE
By Chidimma Writes
🌸 INTRODUCTION
Love is one of the most powerful emotions known to humanity; a force that binds, heals, and transforms. Yet, it is also one of the riskiest acts anyone can take. To love deeply means to give, to trust, and to sometimes hurt. But even with its risks, love remains the greatest foundation of life.
WHAT IS LOVE?
The riskiest things to do are the ones that can never be replaced over time with, by, or for anything.
They could be legal or illegal, but what truly matters is their worthiness in our lives.
Love is a risky act. It means accepting people, things, or actions into our lives; walking with tolerance and respect; overlooking faults with kindness; and supporting with a sincere heart.
Many define love as having deep affection toward someone or something. Yet beyond this definition, love is a daily choice, a living act of compassion, patience, and sacrifice.
God, the author of love, reminds us that love is powerful and costly. From the parting of the Red Sea to the sacrifice of His Son for humanity’s redemption, we see that love always comes with a price.
When we truly love someone or something, our minds surround it. We think of it every day, nurture it, and long to perfect it. Love can be expressed through words, prayers, service, finances, or silent sacrifices that make others grow.
Sadly, in our world today, many have traded love for money, confused it with lust, and disrespected it with unholy desires.
HOW WAS THE WORLD MEANT TO BE?
According to the Bible, God, the Maker of all living things had wonderful plans for His creation.
He intended for humanity to live in love, respect one another’s opinions, and lead a fulfilled, sin-free life.
The world was meant to be peaceful and bright, a place where happiness filled the air, nature bloomed with beauty, and the rivers sparkled under the moonlight, all in His divine presence.
But pride, the destroyer of all good things, tried to darken those beautiful plans.
HOW PRIDE TRIED TO DESTROY THE BRICKS OF LOVE
Pride and envy crept into the perfect harmony of the earth, where love once flowed freely. Lucifer, once the morning star, allowed pride to consume him and became a tool of destruction.
He sought to challenge God and led man and woman into sin through disobedience. Because of that act, humanity lost direct contact with its Creator.
Even today, pride ruins the beautiful things around us. It hates love, peace, and happiness. It despises unity and envies joy.
Pride is the enemy of growth, it watches love flourish and seeks to destroy it.
But the question remains: Did the fallen bricks of love ever rise again?
Yes, they were rebuilt and sealed with the blood of someone greater than pride, stronger than humanity, and purer than all creation.
The Father in heaven was pleased with His sacrifice and perfection.
HOW THIS REBUILD AFFECTS LIFE
Humanity perished because of sin, yet God loved the world (John 3:16) and made a covenant even when man did not deserve it.
Today, through Jesus Christ, we communicate with God and feel His peace surround us like a shield.
Still, in this present world, love is often mistaken for lust. But Christ has already shown us the true meaning of love: selfless, patient, and unconditional.
We must love like Him, treat one another with respect, and understand that everyone deserves care and compassion.
The world is not a playground for uncertainty but a field where love and purpose must grow.
Let us help fulfill the will of nature, respect purity, and resist lust. A husband should be content with his wife, and a wife with her husband. Teenagers and unmarried people should abstain from sex before marriage because the devil uses immorality as a tool to destroy the bricks of love God has built.
Love is blind but not foolish. It is faithful, just, and the greatest of all.
💖 FINAL REFLECTION
Building bricks of love begins with understanding that love is not a weakness but a divine strength.
It is the foundation that holds families, friendships, and faith together. When we choose love, we rebuild what pride once destroyed.
