HE HEARS YOU

   We are all born into different lives, different religions, traditions, and cultures. Life throws at us both interior and exterior doors, and we walk through them in our own ways.
   Growing up can be challenging, and I admit to it. Yet one thing my maternal family, especially my mother, has taught me is to always look at the bright side through the faith we share.
   But in between, doubts sometimes creep in: Does He really exist, like the Bible says? Is there truly a God? or is it just a phenomenon everyone grows up believing?
   The answer may sound too simple to some, but indeed, He exists, not only through the Bible, but also in us and within us.
   Every day, I cry to Him. I whisper my thoughts in silence. I dream and fantasize about the future and still, He hears. Behind closed doors, in broken hearts, during troubling seasons, even in sinful colors, HE HEARS.
   Nothing brings more comfort than knowing and understanding the One who makes the weather serene, perfect, and befitting for mankind. The One who makes you cry yet restores comfort. His existence renews everything because He is ever new.
   Today, I felt driven to share this. Someday, I will tell you even more about Him.
   But remember this: whether in your lowest, broken, or scariest moments; HE HEARS YOU.

MOVIE CRITIC: THE HERD Just Like Every Other One, It Reminds Us of the Poison People believe history shapes our lifestyle, and while the stories get interesting, the movies created from them make the connections more visible. The Herd is a historical movie; not too old, just about six years from the real events that inspired its visuals. It is a film that does not intend to hurt any religion or portray any tribe in Nigeria negatively. Effiong Daniel, an inspiring actor, delivered a project that could easily be misunderstood as controversial, especially because it was released during a chaotic and sensitive period in the country.
